The SupamonkS Studio, was created in 2007 by five partners who work together in motion picture creations for television and the Internet.
This is the story of 4 students "Monks" from the Ecole Georges Méliès (former CESA) in Orly, Val-de-Marne, 3 of the ‘Monks’ directed in 2005 the short film « SuperMonk ». The 4th Monk worked for the largest post-production studios in Paris: amongst which Mac Guff Ligne and Mikros Images .The 5th "Monk," was into Live experience, he joined the team in June 2007 to create all together the animation studio, " SupamonkS.
The five Monks are Julian Bagnol, Sebastian Ho, Peter Cabissole, Cédric Ih, Florian Landouzy.
They create films for TV, the Internet and they direct films for brands like Tic Tac, Mc Donald's, Ubisoft, Wilkinson and Kit Kat…
The SupamonkS love before all to create realistic cartoons in the pure Pixar style, but they also feel very comfortable with the mixed media and animation of 2D layers. Like many other studios, the SupamonkS innovated into 3D relief or "stereoscopy" and decided to develop for their own productions their own 3D tools that put images into relief. This software now allows them to be more competitive, on the timing and on the budget, and enables them to raise the quality of their films in today’s highly competitive market.
SupamonkS is a melting pot of different artists amongst whom French, English and Mandarin are spoken fluently (with some knowledge of Spanish and German if needed).
