After he graduated in Cinema studies, the French director Denis Thybaud started in the 90’s, to direct documentaries and TV shows, for different TV channels (among them, many works for Canal +).
He directed his first short film in 96 «Just do it» and the second one « Granturismo » in 2001, both with famous French actors
Since 2000, he has been dedicating his time to direct music videos, commercials and his own feature films.
In 2005: his first feature film is released: « Dans tes Reves » with Beatrice Dalle, Vincent Elbaz, Lea Drucker and the French rap singer Disiz la peste
Among other famous bands, singers and Djs, he keeps on directing the main Bob Sinclar’s and David Guetta’s music videos (with whom he won an MTV music award for the « Love is gone » video clip),
Recently, international brands such as Mac Donald’s, Orangina, Nomad.fr, Canal Satellite, Citroen, Orlait, Jean Louis David, Lu, Nana, Coca Cola, etc... entrusted Denis Thybaud to direct their local and international advertising campaigns.
He actually received the Yellow Pencil award in London and the Grand Prix (Paris and NY) for the EBAY campaign.
He also won the Grand Prix-New York for his film against Aids « Free Hugs “
Through the diversity of his works (amazing music videos, tv documentaries, underground feature films, original commercials with a great aesthetism ..), Denis Thybaud shows not only his sensitivity and his understanding nature, but also his delirious off beat humor!
And besides all these talents, Denis remains a great guy both sharp and flexible!
